Training and Support

When you join Nathan's Famous as a Business Partner you will receive ongoing training and support.


This is commenced with 2 weeks of hands on initial training and support.

During this time you will be guided through:

  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance
  • All Nathan's Famous Procedures
  • Nathan's Famous Systems
  • Inventory Control
  • Profit and Loss
  • Marketing

At Nathan’s Famous, we put our expertise to work for our franchisees, helping to differentiate your business from the competition and optimise the experience for your customers. We invest time and resources to monitor the industry at national and local levels to assist our Franchises with an understanding of the key factors that will drive business.

Through customised store fit outs, menu items and marketing plans, Nathan’s Famous brings the image and wellbeing of our brand to life. We have an extensive understanding of our customers and build our business environments to meet their needs. We encourage Franchisees to utilise their innovation in keeping a marketing edge over competitors.


You will also receive:

  • Strategic site selection and lease negotiation support for kiosks and full menu restaurants - We will guide you through the lease negotiation process and ensure that it is done right, fairly and efficiently.
  • Unique design and fit out – Nathan’s Famous plays an integral role in the layout and design of your store. Our Designer will develop a design model that ensures efficiency and consistency of operation.
  • Competency based training support - All franchisees complete Nathan’s Famous comprehensive training program in selected training stores and their own location.
  • Hands-on operational support - You will receive extensive ongoing operational support from our experienced operations team.
  • Local Store marketing assistance - We strive to continually strengthen the Nathan’s Famous brand by providing our Franchisees with the tools they need to effectively create loyalty and drive consumer traffic.


During this time you will be complete various modules that cover all aspects of the business.

You will recieve ongoing support where we will work shoulder to shoulder with you.
We will always be available as a Business Partner along the way to give you the guideance and support that you need.

In addition to this we also offer the following training and qualifiactions to both yourself and your staff:

  • Certificate 3 in Hospitality (Including Food Safety Supervisor)
  • Certificate 4 in Hospitality
